I really enjoyed The Catcher in the Rye. From the beginning I got a great impression of Holden Caufield and his hardships and troubles. Sometimes I felt as though Holden’s thinking and narration was slightly frustrating to read because of his controversial personality and actions. However, throughout the book there were very few moments I felt bored or uninterested about the text in front of me. Following Holden’s journey to the end, where his mindset changes, was an intriguing experience that left me hanging until the final word.
