My Place – Sally Morgan

Sally Morgan grew up in Perth in the 1950s and always had a feeling that she was different to the other kids at school. In this rich and moving autobiography, she details her discovery of and search for her Aboriginal roots, hidden by her parents. This is an inspiring account of one woman’s search to discover the truth about her family heritage and origins, and to consequently find her “place” in both Australian indigenous and mainstream society.
